House Rules

CHECK-IN/OUT INSTRUCTIONS & HOUSE RULES

Check-In @ 2pm and Check-Out @ 12Noon. Please inform us if there are significant deviations in your planned arrival or departure times. Early check-in or late check-out must be agreed in advance.

KEY PAD ACCESS/COMBO CODE

To obtain the access code, please Call or Text Brent Blasingame at (559) 359-1947 a few days prior to arrival. Brent can walk you through the turning of the water on/off to the house at the street curb and any winterization questions you might have before or during your stay. (p.s. key set in combo box works for all doors in house and extra small key opens gates on decks)

During colder months, guests must de-winterize and winterize property as part of check-in and check-out. See PDF documents below for arrival and departure.

Cabin sleeps 8. For additional adults or children, there are two Aero Beds in closet and 2 tri-fold twin mattresses.

Please let Brent know if you have additional adults or children prior to reservation, above 8 people.

CLEANING SERVICES – PLEASE READ !!!

CLEANING IS NOT INCLUDED IN NIGHTLY RATE. The housekeeping team is from a local congregation and charges from $175. Please contact Brent about their services. You will be responsible for leaving cash or VENMO @L_and_M_Cleaners. On rare occasions, a self-clean might be available, please inquire.

PETS

Your dog must be fully trained and not allowed on top of beds. We prefer pets off couches unless on a blanket to avoid shedding on furniture. You know your dog best, so please be mindful. Also, pet waste must be removed from outside yard around property.

TRASH

Guests are responsible for hauling all their trash when they leave. There is no trash service at the house. One option is to go to Camp Edison and get a day pass and use their dumpsters to dispose of your trash.

OTHER IMPORTANT TIDBITS

Beach towels are NOT provided. All towels and linens may NOT be used for day use outside the cabin, please bring your own.

We cannot emphasize this enough: PLEASE SUPERVISE ALL CHILDREN on decks and around open windows. With a great view and privacy comes danger of falling off steep areas!!!

Please conserve water as much as possible.

Please clean up after using the BBQ grill and always turn off propane after each use.

Please make sure the garage door switch in garage is in “OFF” position prior to departing.

No smoking (obviously!)

DIRECTIONS

Take the CA-168 into downtown Shaver Lake. On the opposite of Shaver Lake Pizza is Foxtail Lane, so slow down as to not miss the turn. If you see Ken’s Market, you passed Foxtail Lane. Foxtail Lane is narrow so please drive slow and careful. 42038 is on left-hand side of street.

PARKING is available in driveway and 1 car can fit inside garage. The property across the street from cabin is vacant and has a yellow Jeep Wagoneer in driveway. If there are no other cars besides the Jeep, you are welcome to park on that property if necessary.
